Humpty Dumpty Suggested Snacks 2011-2012
On your scheduled snack day, please bring enough snacks for the students, teachers and parent helpers and any needed utensils, plates or napkins. (T/Th class needs 12 snacks and MWF class needs 20 snacks.) Snacks should be sent to school in the original packaging with the exception of fresh fruits/vegetables, which may be sent in individual portions in a Ziploc bag.
Due to the increasing numbers of children with food allergies in our membership, we would ask for your attention and care when selecting snacks to bring on your snack day. PLEASE read the labels of the products you would like to bring. The following allergy information pertains to current students enrolled in our program this school year
Please -
- We ask that you completely avoid any snacks that contain any kind of nuts (especially peanuts), as they can cause the most severe and life-threatening reactions (including foods that contain traces of nuts or foods manufactured in a facility that also handles nuts).
- Please also avoid snacks that contain dairy and egg.
